Each wedding I officiate comes with a handmade booklet of the personalized wedding officiation speech, as well as a decorative Certificate of Marriage, as a token of my appreciation, and the honor it is to serve you on your special day of union.
PLEASE NOTE, the Marriage Certificate is not a legal document. Clients are responsible for obtaining a legal Marriage License according to the laws in your area.
WEDDING SERVICES DO REQUIRE A CONTRACT TO BE SIGNED BY THE CLIENTS AND RETURNED TO ME BEFORE PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. ONCE RECEIVED, AN INVOICE WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU FOR A NON-REFUNDABLE 50% DEPOSIT, WITH THE REMAINDER TO BE PAID TEN DAYS BEFORE YOUR EVENT.
A written copy of your chosen ceremony will be provided by email to the clients upon receipt of the final payment for their approval.

MARRIAGE CEREMONIES: 
Basic marriage ceremony (about 7 - 10 minutes): $100, short and sweet, but unique, officiation speech written just for your special day.

Custom ceremony written by me: $300 - $600, depending on the length you'd like your ceremony to be, the amount of time to prepare the officiation speech, and preparation for the ceremony. 
To create a beautifully worded and crafted personalized script for your wedding day that will be remembered by you and your guests forever and ever will require an in-person meet up or a ZOOM meeting to learn more about you and your story so far.

ADD-ON CEREMONIES:

Broom Jumping Ceremony Add-on: $70

An ancient tradition used throughout numerous cultures - from the Celts, the Gypsies  and the Vikings to Northern African heritages. A broom jumping ceremony is a heart-to-heart pledge where the betrothed promise to 'sweep away the past' and enter a new timeline of life together. In modern times, it is often used in marriages that aren't the first 'marriage go-round', so to speak. Historically, this ceremony was often performed for those less fortunate in financial or social statuses. It is a spiritual statement to the Divine Creator binding two souls - and their hearts - together, no matter the circumstances that try to keep them separated. It was meant to replace and redefine the usual ring exchange for those who could not afford, or were not allowed to marry, in the traditional sense. In this ceremony, a handmade broom, made by me, personally, is decorated with ribbons in the colors of your choice and laid before the bride and groom at the end of their ceremony. As they leave the marriage platform, they literally JUMP over the broom in honor of unifying and interconnecting their life paths forever.

Hand Fasting Ceremony Add-on: $70

A hand fasting ceremony is an ancient Northern European tradition, honoring our Mother Earth, her four directions and her four elements to bring blessings upon your union. Traditionally, just before you say your vows, a hand-woven scarf is used to wrap your hands together, representing the bind of your two lives becoming one. Traditionally, the hand fasting ritual is done directly after you give your vows to each other, bonding your union by, and through, the elemental aspects of our Mother Earth. I, personally, hand-weave the scarves with the colors you chose for your wedding, or I can use both of your favorite colors, your favorite sports team’s colors, etc. You let me know what colors to use and I will weave them into a beautiful binding scarf for you to keep as a momento of this sacred bond!

ADDITIONAL FEES THAT MAY APPLY: 

1. IF YOUR CEREMONY IS MORE THAN 20 MILES FROM SAN MARCOS, TX, A TRAVEL FEE OF $1/MILE MAY BE APPLIED.

2. IF YOUR CEREMONY REQUIRES ME TO TRAVEL OVER 100 MILES ROUND TRIP, FEES FOR CAR/AIR TRAVEL AND *OVERNIGHT HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS UP TO $250* (if necessary) WILL BE CHARGED TO THE CLIENTS.

3. IF YOUR CEREMONY IS AFTER 6PM AND OVER 50 MILES FROM SAN MARCOS, TX, *OVERNIGHT HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS UP TO $250* MAY BE REQUIRED AND WILL BE CHARGED TO THE CLIENTS.

*Hotel accommodations will be booked by me at the nearest La Quinta Motel, or similar hotel/motel in the safest and nearest neighborhood to your ceremony’s location.
